I've created this canvas as a gift for a friend and tested glear gesso for the first time. It worked great. First of all I applied texture paste through a stencil onto the canvas and glued several die cuts, buttons and flowers on it. Then I covered the whole thing with glear gesso and let it dry. Afterwards I sprayed different inks (dylusions, color wash, glimmer mist) over it and let it dry. Next I covered the complete canvas with modge podge and strewed little pearls into the wet glue. The image is stamped on white cardboard, colored with polychromos and distress.
