:::CDT::: #54 Pattern

There's still one week to join the actual Pattern challenge at Creavil. Once again I've use a TH texture fade for the patterned background but also some Washi Tape. The background is created with Distress Stains and RubOns. For more details please take a look -here-.

:::TH::: 12 Tags of 2013 - May

Still longing for warmer und sunny days.... Round about 15° C today... Raining this morning and grey during the rest of the day...  no sun .... It's a pain. Okay on the other hand time for my stamps :D
Today I'm coming up with my May version of Tim's 12 Tags of 2013 round. Looking through my stash I  found some rub sheets, really old ones ;) It was very difficult to rip them off. To learn more about the techniques and this challenge please take a look -here-.

Das Wetter heute war mal wieder ideal zum Stempeln ;) Ich muss allerdings gestehen, dass mir Sonnenschein und Wärme lieber gewesen wäre. So langsam aber sicher könnte es mal wärmer werden.
Heute nun meine Version des Mai-Tags von Tim Holtz. Hihi, ich habe sogar noch Bögen mit Transferbildern gefunden - die haben schon recht lange im Vorrat geschlummert... entsprechende Mühe hatte ich auch beim Abrubbeln ôô

Once again it's time for a new theme at Fashionable Stamping Challenges.During the next two weeks we please you to alter something. It's Alter It time..... We are looking forward to your creations. FSC is sponsered by Flonz Craft and you can win a voucher of 20$.
I've altered a rat trap (bigger than a mouse trap)  using black gesso, Pan Pastels, Original Rust and acrylics.

Die letzten 2 Wochen sind wie im Flug vergangen und schon wieder gibt es ein neues Thema bei Fashionable Stamping Challenges. "Alter It" (Verändere Etwas) heißt es während der kommenden 14 Tage. Wir sind schon sehr auf eure Werke gespannt.

:::TCB::: Alpha Challenge - Letter K

Once again there have not been many words to chose from. It's "K" at The Craft Barn's dictionary challenge. I've had to pick one from 18 ;) and decided for Kangourou. Don't know why, but the scan doesn't want to show the correct colors :(

Auch beim "K" gab das Wörterbuch nicht wirklich was her. Ich durfte zwischen 18 Wörtern wählen ;) und habe mich für das Känguruh entschieden. Die Farben sehen im Original anders aus, keine Ahnung wieso der Scanner nicht so wollte wie ich.....

So sorry, but I'm one day late with my blogpost... Already yesterday started a new challenge theme at Creavil. For the upcoming 2 weeks we want to see Pattern on your works. There are many possibilities and we are looking forward to your entries. For my pattern I've take a TH texture fade - very easy :D The background is created with pieces of an old book page (again) and Distress Stains. Ich bin leider einen Tag zu spät mit meinem Beitrag hier auf dem Blog. Seufz.... Gestern ist ist das neue Thema bei Creavil an den Start gegangen. In den nächsten 2 Wochen möchten wir Muster von euch sehen und sind schon sehr auf eure Interpretationen gespannt. Ich habe für mein Muster einen TH Prägefolder genommen ;) Einzelheiten zur Karte könnt ihr -hier- nachlesen.

:::TIO::: #141 Yellow, Lightbulbs and Wire

Another fortnight has gone and it's time for a new recipe at Dragons Dream Tag It On. We want to see Yellow, Lightbulbs and Wire on your tags .... and of course a real stamp ;) So come over to the blog, be inspired by the tags of the design team and play the game :)
Once again I've created the background with Gesso and Distress Stains, then dry embossed using the TH riveted metal texture fade, the embossed areas are highlighted with RubOns.  The corrugated cardboard is colored with white Gesso and then sprayed with Dylusion and Glimmer Mist.

Schon wieder sind 14 Tage ins Land gezogen und es ist Zeit für eine neue Herausforderung bei Dragons Dream Tag It On. In den kommenden zwei Wochen möchten wir die Farbe Gelb, Glühlampen und Draht auf euren Tags sehen... und natürlich mindestens einen richtigen Stempelabdruck ;)

:::AJJ::: Challenge Yourself

This was really a challenge... the actual theme at Art Journal Journey is Challenge Yourself. I've tried to create a different journal page than normal and worked nearly 5 days on this spread. I've not only taken acrylics, but also Decoupaste, painting gel, gauze bandage, Pan Pastels and Modge Podge. It's a very special page... just for me ;) And no question... Herr Mayer celebrates with me ;) All images are from Stempelei.

Das war wirklich eine Herausforderung - ich habe 5 Tage an dieser Doppelseite gewerkelt. Dieses mal nicht nur mit Acrylfarbe sondern noch mit Decoupaste, Malgel, Mullbinde und Pan Pastels. Die Seite habe ich aus gegebenem Anlass für mich gemacht :D und keine Frage... Herr Mayer feiert mit. Die Motive sind allesamt von Stempelei, Einzelheit zur Doppelseite gibt es -hier-.

:::CDT::: #53 Weaving

It's still time to join the actual Weaving Challenge at Creavil. If you take a closer look, you can see the woven background of the little tag. I've colored the woven tag with black and white Gesso and then with Orginal Rust, PanPastel and Glimmer Mist. The owl and the sentiment are new Just Stamps Design images from Creavil. On the main background I've glued some pieces of an old book page und colored it with Dylusion Spray inks. Both tags are dry embossed using the Alteration Woodgrain folder.

The background of my card is a pattern paper. The lace and the tulle are fixed by sewing. Once again I've used my spellbinder flowers - I really love them. The dancing couple and the edges are from the Dance Tango plate generously sponsored by Flonz Craft.

:::FSC::: #47 Anything Goes

It's the first sunday in May and another fortnight has gone. Time for a new theme at Fashionable Stamping Challenges. It's an Anything Goes for the next two weeks and we're looking forward to your entries.
I'm sure you've noticed, that we've a new sponsor. The winner will get a $ 20 voucher from Flonz Craft. So, come over to the FSC blog for more information and be inspired by the pieces of the design team and start creating you own.
I've created the tag background in the speckled gesso resist technique, being inspired by this video. The bee is stamped with Distress gathered twiggs, clear embossed and then colored with yellow acrylics. The wings are stamped seperately on clear plastic foil, once in Archival Jet Black and twice in 3 D stamp paint (silver). Then I cut around the wings and secured them with the tiny attacher onto the tag.

Schon der erste Sonntag im Mai und Zeit für das neue Thema bei Fashionable Stamping Challenges. Für die nächsten zwei Wochen heißt es Alles Geht. Da sind wir schon sehr gespannt, was ihr uns alles zeigen werdet. Auch dieses Mal gibt es einen $ 20 Gutschein von Flonz Craft zu gewinnen.
Der Hintergrund des Tags ist mit Gesso und Distress Stains gestaltet. Die Technik wird super auf diesem Video gezeigt. Man kann natürlich auch mit den Distress Kissen arbeiten ;) Diese Technik gab es schon bevor es die Stains gab. :D
